Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world but please note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please check the regulations in your country before ordering as we are not able to refund purchases that are not permitted to enter a country for any reason.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. We try our best to dispatch items within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will notify you by e-mail once your order has been shipped.

Depending on your location, there may be more than one choice of transport. For example, within South Africa we offer customers choice of receiving their goods by normal parcel post or by courier. If you are super-organised and have ordered your gift well in advance then parcel post will get your parcel to you cheaply and efficiently. If you're like me and leave your shopping to the last minute then I'm afraid you're going to have to opt for the express delivery service with one of the local couriers who will bring it direct to your door.  It will cost a bit more but it will get there chop chop. 

For most other countries we offer a choice of airmail or surface mail. Airmail is obviously quicker but please remember that we are in South Africa so even by airmail your package is likely to take a week or two to get to you if you are in Europe, the Americas, Asia or Australasia. By surface mail it could be 4, 6 or 8 weeks depending on when the next ship leaves port and where in the world you reside.

We do not presently offer delivery by courier outside of South Africa because of the high costs, but if you are desperate to receive your order in a hurry then we would be pleased to get a quotation for you.

Please also note that the shipping rates are based on the weight of your total order. The weight of each item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, the total weight of your order will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.

Payment Options

Credit Card payments can be made using PayPal's secure payment system.  Please note that PayPal does not accept South African Rand so if you are in South Africa and want to pay by credit card please change your currency to either Euros, British Pounds or United States Dollars.  To do this, go to any of the product pages and click on the currency on the right hand side.

South African users can pay by direct deposit.  Please choose this option when you check out.  Once you have made payment please fax or e-mail proof of payment to us.  Your order will be dispatched as soon as the funds have cleared into our account. Regret no cheques.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
